The old things passed away...
It's nice to see the new things in spring set against the old things that have passed in the fall. It reminds me of the following scripture:

My Other Shooting Hobby
I enjoy shooting more than photos from time to time. I find it to be very relaxing to go out in the back yard and turn soda cans inside out! These are some of the tools I use for that purpose.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Yes, this is a few days late, but Happy Valentine's Day anyway!
This flower is a carnation we bought our 5 year old to have delivered in class with a heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie. She was ecstatic when she got this! It's nice to see simple things making my girls happy.

My Cup Runneth Over
I was shooting this photo and was reminded of the 23rd Psalm and began to think about how blessed I am by God. He's provided so much for me and my family I can only be thankful.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures:
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul:
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For You are with me;
Your rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
You preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
You annoint my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
