Finally Some Scenics!

I wouldn't ever quite my day job to become a tour guide! I met with Beau this morning to go out shooting photos together. It was a great time and if I hadn't taken any pictures, the trip would have been worthwhile, but the locations I selected were less than ideal. We started out at Pratt's Falls only to find out the park isn't open until 10am. We were there around 8am. So, we went out to Chittenango Falls State Park where the main trail through the gorge was closed. We weren't able to get down below the waterfalls for some good photos. We wandered around there for a little over an hour though and then decided to head over to Onondaga Lake Park.

Here are a few photos from the trip that I thought were at least decent.

Next time, I'm letting Beau decide where to go!

Very nice images John. Thanks for the outing yesterday, I had a great time even if Pratt's Falls was not yet open. Got to see areas I had not yet been too and hopefully got some good images. But even if I didn't, it was well worth the trip. Hopefully I can some images posted today. We had stuff to do the whole rest of the day so I have not had a chance to go through them. Best wishes.

I had a great time too. It's nice to have someone to go out shooting with. You pick the locations next time though. :)

Hopefully you had some good photos from the trip. I keep trying, but I think those are about the only three I managed to get worth keeping. Thank God for the contrast adjustments, otherwise the mouse burrows wouldn't have shown up well.

The "No Fishing" image is beautiful. Great composition.
